My Handy Man!

Our awesome neighbor gave us some free sod so we rented a tiller and tore up our whole yard!

He asked me if I wanted a turn - but after watching him for a couple minutes I was glad I had a husband to do that kind of work!  I'm a hard worker but I am finally realizing there is definately a reason people let men do the hard labor!-  Thanks honey!  You're awesome! :)
My Adorable Kaitlin!

Our Second adventure camping with the kids!

Our Family in front of our tent camping near Bryce Canyon!
Kaitlin the sneaker!- She was having so much fun playing in the tent! - and getting into mom's stuff!
Our awesome friends that we went with.
Doug and Becca and their kids Adam and Molly And Brian and Jodi and their kids Tate and Allie.
We had tinfoil dinners and roasted marshmallows- and made S'mores and stayed up talking.
The kids did pretty good sleeping and I know they'll be better next time!
It was so much fun I'm up for it again!- anyone?

This was when we went to the Oquirrh Mountain Temple open house! It was gorgeous!
Makayla liked it so much she tried to sneak under the ropes in the Celestial Room- but daddy caught her-- luckily!

McDonald's

We went to Micky D's for FHE with the Charlesworths one day when Adam was out of town.  It was a fun outing.  Our kids have so much fun together!
Just don't look at the sign above Makayla ....:)

Makayla had her first talent show today at Joy school. She didn't want to prepare anything she just wanted to do a dance. So she got on her black dance outfit with a little tutu and her ballet slippers and went to class.
When we got there to pick her up they had all the moms sit down and watch the performance. She is not a bashful girl, when it comes to being the center of attention she can usually not think of anything more coveted! But when we were all watching her I told her to do her dance and she just looked at everyone with her chin tucked down and then we said, "do you want some music?" she said yes so Holly turned on Little mermaid - then she did a few little spins got kind of dizzy and ran to me. Then I said are you done or do you want to dance more? She went back out there then did the same thing looked down, got shy, then she went up on her tippy toes a few times and ran back to me. She's so cute. That's exactly like me when it comes to talent shows. I like performing but for some reason it get really nervous - especialy if it's impromptu!

Hack Job

Do I really want to attempt to BLOG?? it is such a scary thing to me- why? I'm already a facebook junkie and how I find time to do that I still don't know- well I guess if you looked at my to do list or bathrooms you'd know!
My daughter Makayla decided it was time for short hair late Saturday night when she cut 12 inches off of her long, gorgeous, thick, long, red hair,- did I say long????
She came out of the bathroom very excited to show us her surprise!!
And Surprised I was. I couldn't really speak.
She hacked at it in several different places, the shortest was about 2 inches long so now she has a little bob and is as adorable as ever- and it'll grow - right?
I only feel bad for the horsey - who also got a hair cut and whose hair will never grow back...:)
I'm not that worried - just worried of the next attempt- and Kaitlin- and who will cut Kaitlin's hair 1st???? AHHH
She looks adorable and somehow she reminds me of myself more now, when I was a little girl. She's a sassy one. -but that's not from me...
